Up-Cycling Workshops & Classes — Perth

Angel Contreras, founder of All Angels Are Aliens (est. 2019), is now offering upcycling, sewing, and screen printing workshops in Perth, Western Australia.

After teaching these classes across Melbourne for the past three years, Angel has relocated from Victoria to Perth and is bringing his hands-on, experimental approach over west for the first time.

These workshops are built around real studio techniques, focusing on transforming existing garments through upcycling, sewing, and screen printing.

December Workshop Dates and Time

📅 December 17 & 18

11am-2pm

• December 17 — Screen Printing Using Water Based Inks Workshop

• December 18 — Sewing / Upcycling Making Abomination Plushie, Balaclavas, and More Workshop

Each workshop runs for 3 hours, with a 15-minute break halfway through.

Ticket Options (Choose One or Both)

There are three ticket options available:

1. Screen Printing Workshop — December 17

2. Sewing / Upcycling Workshop — December 18

3. Both Workshops (17 + 18 December) — discounted bundle rate

You can attend either workshop individually, or book both sessions together at a reduced price.

Spots are very limited for all sessions.

Group sizes are kept small to ensure hands-on guidance.

What to Bring-

You are strongly encouraged to bring your own garments to upcycle (jackets, jeans, hoodies, shirts, tote bags, etc.).

If you don’t have suitable pieces, some garments and materials can be provided, however bringing your own items will give you the best experience.

It’s recommended you come in with a rough idea of what you’d like to create.If you’re unsure, Angel will provide templates and project guidance based on your sewing skill level.

Skill Level-

Open to everyone — beginners through to advanced.

No formal experience required. Projects and techniques will be adapted to suit your skill level.

Open to adults and young adults.

The studio is located near Perth Airport.
